Reviews
Delicious, fresh food! great wines! efficient and attentive service. Be sure to make a reservation. You won't regret dining here. We ate the chef's Banquet for $96/pp (pictured). We ordered scallops on top of that as well. Highly recommend the scallops, kingfish, beef tartare, pork neck and baked peaches. The creme brulee and strawberry granita for dessert were perfect finishers - a quality dessert that is not heavy/carby as we were very full !
The food and service was impeccable! We ordered a lot of the small sharing plates. The menu is designed to be shared so the proportions of each dish was sufficient. The flavours were delicious - our favourites were the burrata, focaccia bread and octopus. It is a lovely warm restaurant with very attentive staff. Highly recommended!
Probably a 4.5, but as an appreciation for kindly fitting us in last minute, have bumped it up to 5. The food is very pretty and comes out very quickly. Plus Plus. Most of the dishes were also very good in taste. The Octopus was my least favourite dish as it was a bit chewy and had lots of chopped parsley scattered on it.
Favourite item was the crabmeat tartlets.
Minus one point for atmosphere only as it does feel a little crammed for a fine dining sort of meal (more of a Cafe setting), and there is a 10% weekend surcharge even on a Saturday, which is a bit unusual as I've only seen this surcharge on Sundays at some places before. But overall still a nice experience.
Wonderful relaxed atmosphere, attentive, friendly service and interesting, thoughtfully plated food. We had the shared plate, set menu ($90). Loved the chef’s choices and the order of service.
A beautiful cosy, hip spot in the mountains. Felt like we’d stepped into Melbourne! Chefs menu was divine
Food was good but not value for money. I’ve tasted better for less. Friendly and attentive servers but lacking fine dining hospitality.
Absolutely wonderful meal! Well rounded palette experience. Great serving size for the banquet. Phenomenal service. Tudor was outstanding with his knowledge of the menu, wine notes and care. Would absolutely recommend as one of the only hatted restaurants in the mountains.
A cute & delightful local restaurant with down to earth friendly staff & cozy vibes! The food was lovely, great for sharing & the service was very quick! …
